When Simon's new roommate turns out to be the stunning and mysterious Anna, he embarks on a quest to woo her. To do so, he must seek the help of notorious gangster McSeamus. But at the start of the school year, he will have trouble even surviving his classes.
The television series "North" follows a group of international students in the city of Groningen as they struggle against the half Irish, half Scottish mob boss McSeamus, all the while trying to survive university, make friends, and experience all that student life has to offer. There's laughter, there's tears, there's bad mustaches and Spanish lovers, there's three-leaved clovers and two-faced liars. But most of all, there's friendship and a shared international grudge against living in a city where no one can pronounce its name.
With a limited budget, the cast and crew of "North" set out to complete a six-episode miniseries with a total running time equalling a feature-length production, using resources and locations primarily stemming from their hometown of Groningen. With time, dedication, and the financial support of friends, they have succeeded. Production wrapped in the summer of 2011. Nevertheless, the road to the red carpet is long and expensive. 1: "Pilot"

Tony convinces Anna to go on a date, much to the dismay of Simon who thinks up a plan to thwart the evening. Meanwhile, Hot Bobby meets up with Hans, a German student who worships him. Further complications ensue when the group is joined by Simon's ex-girlfriend, Alex. Guest starring Johan Stapert as Hans, and Marta Calvet as Elena.
3: "Simon Says"
With Hot Bobby missing in action, Ramez has no choice but to join forces with Alex in a chase around the city, as the aftermath of Simon's disastrous plan is made clear. 4: "Exams"
The group is put to the test in more ways than one after McSeamus's plan is revealed. Simon and Hot Bobby engage in a very peculiar rivalry, while Ramez decides to visit the local police. 5: "After Math"
After a night of partying, the friends are sent out to the countryside to retrieve a package. It quickly becomes clear that all is not as it seems. Guest starring Dick van Veen as Farmer Jan, Rob Sanders as Duke, and Glenn de Boer as Marcus.
6: "All the Way Down"
